Hello, and welcome to a little about me.

I'm Stacey. I see myself as a warm, heart-centered, empathic person with a deep compassion for people. It is no surprise that my professional work led me into training 17 years ago as social worker and later on as a clinical master in family therapy. I see my work as a privilege of walking alongside you, in order to support what your life's purpose may be. Sometimes this involves healing from things from the past, understanding where your blocks may be, or working through relationship issues.

My passion areas are many but some include trauma work; self-identify and empowerment; creating stronger relationships; finding ways and growing around loss and grief; changing the stories we tell ourselves that hold us back from taking the next steps in our journey of life.

My approach to supporting you will always be tailored to your particular circumstances. I am influenced by therapeutic modalities and frameworks including Narrative Therapy, Family Systemic Practice, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, understanding how trauma impacts our body, breath work, attachment styles and the connection to how this influences the way we communicate... the list goes on!

As you work with me, you may get to know that I love to learn. I continue to train and absorb as much as I can no matter how long I have been a therapist, as what I see as my craft is my true life's passion to work in this area of holding space for people in therapy. I find great joy in supporting people and families to connect more authentically with themselves.

I have been lucky enough to support people across the lifespan, from children, adolescents to adults. From all walks of life, with various mental health struggles, in settings of humanitarian services, not for profit to specialist public mental health, and private practice.

Some of the areas I work with include:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma: of any kind (sexual assault, physical abuse, relational)

  • Family and Relationship Struggles

  • Loss and Grief

  • Parenting Support

  • Self harm

  • Suicidal thoughts

  • Identity

  • Self-Empowerment

  •  Adjustment to life events

  • Couples therapy

  • Clinical Supervision

Throughout my work I show an ability to connect and assess your needs with a gentle but empowering approach and really work with people to have clarity and purpose for their lives and in their relationships.

You may be worried that beginning therapy will be overwhelming and a daunting process, but I see my role to make this as comfortable, safe and a grounding experience for you. I look forward to meeting you and going on this journey at Little Window.
