Hello there, my name is Esha. My journey with psychotherapy began right here at Little Window - it was here that I experienced its’ transformative power, and that I found my deep passion for this work. It was through my own therapeutic process many years ago that I discovered how therapy can be both a soft landing and a powerful catalyst for hope, healing, and empowerment. My personal experience continues to shape the way I practice — with immense respect for the bravery it takes to show up, and an intimate understanding of the deep work of healing and the concurrent discomfort and peace that comes with growth.

My therapy approach integrates evidence-based clinical frameworks with intuitive, holistic approaches, attuned to your unique needs. I often draw from Person-Centred Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), alongside somatic, strengths-based, and psychodynamic approaches. In working with couples, I blend EFT for couples with the Gottman Method, tailoring my approach to what feels most resonant for each relationship.

I believe healing involves the tuning into what is non-verbal and beneath the surface for my clients. This can come from using symbols when describing one’s internal world in colours, shapes, and movement before it speaks in words. With experience in expressive therapies, I warmly welcome the use of creative mediums as soft, yet powerful tools to access different layers of healing. These methods can allow us to connect with our inner world in ways that words sometimes cannot, bring the unconscious into awareness, and open new doors for meaningful change.

I tend to adopt a calm, curious, and intuitive approach to my sessions, grounded in compassion, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I highly value the healing power of humour, a relaxed atmosphere, and relational safety, free from judgment. I find immense fulfilment in helping people feel truly understood, accepted, and connected – both to themselves and to others. I believe deeply in the sacred alchemy of human connection - the quiet, profound transformation that happens when we feel truly safe and seen. As your therapist, I feel incredibly honoured to walk alongside you on your journey and offer you this space to safely express, nurture, and heal the tender parts of you that may have gone unexplored.

As an immigrant and culturally diverse person, I understand firsthand the challenges of navigating a bicultural identity and displaced sense of belonging. I have a strong interest in culturally responsive and feminist frameworks that honour each person’s unique cultural background, values, and lived experience, while also acknowledging the impact of broader social systems on our emotional wellbeing, relationships, and identities.

My areas of interest include:

  • Attachment and relationship dynamics (including navigating intercultural/LGBTQIA+/neurodiverse relationships)

  • Identity and self-esteem

  • Highly Sensitive People (HSPs)

  • Anxiety

  • Grief and loss

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Loneliness and isolation

  • Navigating diverse cultures

  • Children and adolescents

  • Holistic mental wellness and personal development

Outside of my therapeutic work, I find comfort and joy in the ocean, my dog (Biscotti), and my ever-growing list of books to read. I find transcendence and aliveness in the world of creativity and live music gigs. I find home in my mother’s chai and stomach-aching laughter with my loved ones. I am perpetually in pursuit of softer ways to move through the world.

I deeply appreciate you taking the time to read about me. I’m so looking forward to meeting you.
