Hi, I’m Emily, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who is passionate about walking alongside people through life’s challenges with warmth, care and genuine connection.

I have experience working with children, young people and adults across both community and private settings. I support clients as they make sense of their experiences and navigate difficult or uncertain periods in their lives. Creating a safe, supportive space where people feel comfortable, heard, and understood is central to how I work.

My approach to therapy is relational and trauma-informed, drawing on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and creative modalities. I tailor my work to each individual, recognising the importance of genuine therapeutic relationships and collaboration in the therapeutic process.

I value the human side of therapy, the courage it takes to explore inner experiences and the relief that can come from feeling truly seen and understood. This is what drew me to Little Window: a space where connection and safety sit at the heart of the therapeutic journey, and where people are supported with warmth and respect.

Alongside my work with adults, I enjoy working with children and young people, helping them to navigate anxiety and worries, emotional regulation and big feelings, confidence and self-esteem, social and peer relationships, stress, and adjusting to family or life changes.

I take a developmentally sensitive and engaging approach, often incorporating play-based, creative and interactive strategies to help children express themselves and build coping skills in a way that feels safe and meaningful.
