I am a caring, detail-oriented, intuitive and sensitive person, compelled to connect with the people I work with in a meaningful way, and on a deeper level.
Counselling for me is about having a safe relationship in which you can examine and express your truth, and show up exactly as you are. I strive to help you feel seen and heard, and will meet you with compassion wherever you are in your emotions in the moment. I also enjoy bringing in lightness, ease and laughter into sessions.
I regularly engage in therapy for myself for ongoing inner work, and believe that self-learning, growing and evolving is a life-long process. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of therapy, finding strength in vulnerability, and the freedom that comes with being able to welcome and honour all parts of yourself.
Neuroscience, quantum physics and contemplative research has taught us that the mind and consciousness is encapsulated not only in the brain; it exists throughout the whole body, and beyond. In my work I am interested in how you can learn to listen to the wisdom and cues of your inner knowing, to support deeper self-understanding and more integrated healing.
I take an intersectional feminist approach that considers not only your personal experiences, but also the impact of societal systems, family dynamics, and the burdens that can be passed down through generations. We explore how these layers shape your emotional well-being, your roles in relationships, and your sense of identity.
Some of my work in therapy with you may be IFS-led (Internal Family Systems), meaning sessions are guided by a deep respect for the different ‘parts’ of you that have developed to survive, protect, and make sense of your world. Rather than trying to fix or eliminate symptoms, we slow things down and get curious about what each part needs, while strengthening access to your core Self: the place of calm, clarity, compassion, and wisdom. This approach allows therapy to feel collaborative, non-pathologising, and attuned, supporting lasting change by helping your internal system feel safer, more understood, and more integrated over time.
My counselling style also draws from Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Attachment Theory, Person-Centred Therapy, Neuropsychotherapy, Trauma-informed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Expressive/Creative Therapies, and Non-Directive Child Centred Play Therapy. The therapeutic connection we form and the approach that I take will be unique and adapted to each individual.
I am drawn to the unseen threads that connect us: energy, intuition, dreams, and consciousness. For me, the mystical isn’t separate from the practical. It is woven into the way I see people, mental wellness, and the world around us.
I look forward to meeting you, and working with you at Little Window.
