Hi there, I'm Nell.
Growing up in rural Queensland, I spent much of my childhood surrounded by animals, wide-open spaces and the rhythms of life on a farm. This was where my interest in psychology first began, sparking a curiosity about how isolation, chronic stress and the unpredictability of rural life can impact people's mental wellbeing. Throughout the years this interest has developed into a broader curiosity about people, their stories, and the unique experiences that shape who they are – a defining aspect of my decision to pursue the psychology field.
I was initially drawn to Little Window due to the unique emphasis placed on creating a space that supports the therapeutic experience. From the thoughtfully curated, calming atmosphere to the little comforts like a warm cup of tea - this attention to detail is just one reflection of the effort and care Little Window takes in supporting clients. As an enthusiastic tea drinker myself, I was also particularly excited to discover the tea selection!
Outside of Little Window, I love catching up with friends and family - whether that’s at social sport during the week, coffee walks on the weekend, or planning travel to visit people further away. I'm also a believer in making time for the simple things: genuine conversation, the great outdoors, an iced latte, and sharing a meal with friends and family.
I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into the Little Window space. Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me.
