Hi there,

My name’s Brad. I am a relational therapist who works with individuals and couples seeking deeper understanding, stronger connections, and meaningful change in their lives and relationships.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I recognise that many of the challenges people face in adulthood are shaped by earlier experiences, attachment patterns, and the ways we learned to protect ourselves in relationships. In therapy, I support clients to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, helping them develop greater self-awareness while building practical tools for navigating life’s difficulties.

I work from a relational lens, which means therapy focuses not only on symptoms but also on the ways we relate to ourselves and others. I believe that healing and growth often occur through safe, respectful relationships, and aims to create a therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported.

In couples therapy, I help partners slow down difficult interactions, better understand each other’s emotional worlds, and learn new ways of communicating during moments of conflict or disconnection. My work is informed by evidence-based approaches including the Gottman Method, alongside relational and trauma-informed frameworks.

I am particularly passionate about creating inclusive and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples. As a gay therapist, I understand the layered experiences that can influence identity, relationships, family dynamics, and belonging.

Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and gently direct. My goal is to help people move beyond simply coping with challenges, toward developing deeper insight, resilience, and more fulfilling relationships.

I work with the following presentation areas:

  • Relationship issues

  • Identity concerns

  • LGBTQIA+ experiences and identity exploration

  • Trauma and complex trauma

  • Life transitions and personal change

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Grief and loss

  • Career direction and guidance
